Majorelle Garden

The Jardin Majorelle in Marrakech is one of the most visited sites in Morocco. It took French painter Jacques Majorelle forty years of passion and dedication to create this enchanting garden in the heart of the “Ochre City”. Inspired by Islamic garden, this botanical garden contains about 300 species on nearly a hectare and a museum of Berber culture . Purchased by Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Bergé in 1980 , it is up to date at the Fondation Pierre Bergé – Yves Saint Laurent.

Medersa Ben Youssef

The Ben Youssef Madrasa is a madrasah, a jewel of Amazigh-Moorish architecture located in Marrakech and founded by Abu al-Hasan, Merinid sultan. The carvings contain no representation of humans or animals as required by Islam, and consist entirely of inscriptions and beautiful geometric patterns. The madrasah was during more than four centuries a shelter for students thirst for knowledge in various sciences, including theology.

Jemaa El Fna square

Jemaa el Fna is a very famous public square in the southwest of the medina of Marrakech. This traditional, popular and lively place attracts over one million visitors a year. Considered as a cultural space, it is animated by a significant popular life. From 17pm many stallholders , hawkers and street artists install their many street restaurants and attractions and the place quickly becomes full of people with a family festive atmosphere.
