One of our favorite times of the year to head to Bali happens to be in September. The weather is still pleasant, low chance of rain and the best part is that the island is considerably less crowded as it is the beginning of the off season.

Here’s a round up of some featured events and festivals for you to check out before the monsoon season arrives.

1. A Film Festival for Surfers

The Ombak Bali Surf Film Festival is the first showcase for international independent surf films in South East Asia. Taking place at La Laguna Bar, between Canggu and Seminyak, you can catch films that celebrate the surfing lifestyle.
