Your Guide to Paris Fashion Week

There is no better time to visit Paris than during Paris Fashion Week.  Starting September 25th, Paris will be a runway itself, filled with stylish celebrities, industry icons, and models rushing to shows or enjoying a break at one of the popular haunts among the fashion industry.

Le Défilé L’Oréal Paris

Rumor has it that this year’s Paris Fashion Week will be even bigger with L’Oreal launching the largest public fashion spectacle ever, with their models walking down a floating runway along the Seine. Everyone is invited to see this show on September 30, starting at 2pm.

P.S. The entrance will be at Port de Solferino, Paris 75008.

Where to Dine (and People Watch)

Tried and tested by the Prestigious team, we can attest that this beautiful hot spot is as delicious as it is pretty.  The latest restaurant and brainchild of the famous Experimental Group, Balagan offers a vibrant fusion of Moroccan, French and Israeli cuisine.  You can be sure that this restaurant will be packed so make your reservations as soon as possible!

Balagan 9 Rue d’Alger, 75001 Paris

Looking for the newest hot spot in Paris? The recently opened restaurant of Hélène Darroze, Jòia is a worthy contender with it’s beautiful and cozy decor and southwestern french cuisine.  The Prestigious team will be checking this place out soon, so you might find us at a table nearby.

Bouillon Julien

With its Art Nouveau facelift and head chef Christophe Moisand’s seasonal cuisine, Bouillon Julien is marked to be Paris’ bistro hangout spot this fall. You can be sure this iconic (and highly instagrammable) bistro will be packed this fashion week.

Nestled inside Paris’ Cité de l’Architecture, Girafe is the restaurant that everyone’s talking about. Created by Gilles Malafosse and Laurent Gourcoff, who are also the masterminds behind Monsieur Bleu and Loulou, and decorated by Joseph Dirand, you just mind find us relaxing on the 1930s-style cream benches later this week.

Where to Drink

Need a break between shows or meetings? Stop by Danico Bar for some fabulous cocktails hidden in the back of Daroco, the former showroom space of Jean Paul Gaultier. Danico is one of our favorite spots to take a break too.

Customize your own cocktail at Bisou, where there are no menus.  The fabulous bartenders will ask what you like and create a concoction to your taste.  The Prestigious team was impressed by their cocktails and we’re sure that you will be too.

Bar Josephine

Discover the newly renovated Hotel Lutetia and enjoy a glass of champagne at their Bar Josephine.  Just recently opened this summer, you can be sure that every fashionable person will be stopping by this hotel bar this fashion week.
